Budget Glass Company started when 2 brothers decided to put fliers up to replace broken windshields trying to make money and save their community from ridiculous auto-shop prices. David and Butch did such a great job that they’re first customer started telling people if they had a windshield issue to contact “Captain Glass.” While working their normal jobs, they continued to do auto glass repair as odd jobs until they were able to create their business Budget Glass Company in 1988.
Looking to build a business ethically, they realized that the local area needed an affordable option instead of the high auto repair labor and material fees. Building on their idea of high quality, speed and saving customers money, they formed the local business and icon you see today.
Eventually becoming full time glaziers, they expanded their original idea of fast, efficient, and affordable glass care to including residential and commercial clients. Unfortunately, due to the way that the auto industry went so heavily into automation, the Meadows Brothers decided to move their business away from window repairs for cars and purely into residential and commercial.
Doing this ensured that they were able to keep their intended business ideology; Hand-crafted and quality glasswork at the speed Captain Glass would approve of. Because they were able to keep costs low, it allowed them to pass those savings onto their clients, ensuring satisfied returning customers.
